Huddle around Tom Brady's new Instagram post to see Gisele Bündchen's reaction.
The retired quarterback shared highlights from his recent trip to Africa with his kids and reflected on life as he enters his 46th year. And the supermodel subtly showed her love for the post by dropping a prayer hand emoji in the comments—one of the many signs of support the exes have given each other on social media since their October divorce.
Tom's Aug. 8 Instagram post featured a series of snaps of the former NFL star with his 15-year-old son Jack, who he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan, as well as his and Gisele's 10-year-old daughter Vivian from the trip.
"What an incredible trip to the most amazing continent…Africa," the athlete, who also shares son Benjamin, 13, with the former runway star, wrote in the caption. "It was another special reminder that life is TRULY about relationships and memories…"
In fact, the trip coincided with a special time for Tom as he turned 46 on Aug. 3.
"This past week of my birthday I have had much time to reflect and be grateful for all the incredible blessings," he continued. "I couldn't imagine growing up as a boy in San Mateo that my life would become what it has… I've experienced quite a bit in the first 45 years I have lived, and what I have loved most is the people who I have shared the most life changing events with….my children, my family, my loved ones and friends and all of you have added so much to this incredible/adventurous life."
And it was certainly a trip Tom will never forget.
"To wake up to sunrises and untouched parts of our beautiful planet," he added, "to witness these animals in all their glory, to see how different people can live with true joy and happiness continues to bring me great lessons in learning."
And as he starts this next chapter, the seven-time Super Bowl champ shared two quotes that were "profoundly meaningful" to him. The first? "The life you lead, is the lesson you teach," Tom wrote, before sharing the second: ""If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am not for others, what am I?"
For Tom, these words of wisdom are something he's looking forward to taking with on his latest ventures—which include his minority ownership in the British soccer club Birmingham City and stepping in as a football commenter for Fox Sports next year.
"I've had them in my mind for some time, and I will continue to bring them with me on this journey of life," the sports star added. "Thank you all for your love and support these first 45 years….I am taking these next days one at a time, focusing on being my best self for me, and others, and living a life of integrity and purpose."
Tom isn't the only one who's been traveling. Earlier this week, Gisele offered a glimpse inside her visit to Brazil, where she was born.
"What a magical place!" she wrote on Instagram Aug. 6. "I am so recharged and inspired."
